Cobra Commander is a ruthless leader that rules over his followers with an iron fist. His main objective is to rule the world and everything in it. He has led uprisings in several parts of the world to bring about chaos and destruction. He is also responsible for kidnapping scientists, military leaders and politicians and forces them to work for him.
In the animated series and in the action figures, Cobra Commander’s face is never shown, instead he wears a featureless chrome mask that hides his entire face or a hood with the eyeholes cut out. He is seen carrying a scepter and has this distinctively raspy voice behind the mask. And while his face was never shown, it was hinted that he has a badly disfigured or repulsive face which is why he has to keep wearing a mask.
